Pacari to launch award winning products at The Chocolate Show, London, 16-18 Oct 2015

Pacari, the first organic dark chocolate from Ecuador, has blazed its way into this fiercely competitive industry and is now one of the most talked about brands of chocolate in the world.

With a mission to create the finest quality chocolate by using the best organic ingredients and ensuring they are ethically sourced, Pacari works together with small scale farmers to combine a sustainable business with a commitment to preserve the native Arriba Nacional cacao. And judging by their success year after year at The International Chocolate Awards, they have succeeded. Last year alone they won 14 awards, and were named by the organisers as “the most lauded chocolate maker in the world”.

This year at the London Chocolate Show 2015 they are up for 15 awards for chocolate bars that incorporate the unique and diverse flavours of the Andes such as Lemongrass, Passionfruit, and Cuzco Salt and Cocao Nibs. The chocolate covered Bananas and Cocao Beans, the full range of unique plain dark chocolate and some of their Raw Chocolate range are also up for awards. The Raw Chocolate range which incorporates bars from 70% to 100% also has new variations with Maca, Spirulina or Andean Blueberry which are proving very popular. The delicious variety on offer from Pacari ensures there is something for every kind of chocolate lover.

Not previously available in the UK, the full Pacari organic chocolate range will be available at the London Chocolate Show at stand A9 along with other new products such as beautifully presented gift sets and boxes which would make perfect Christmas presents. Why not come along and try a sample and see for yourself why Pacari is taking the chocolate world by storm!

Notes to the editor:

  • Fair Business Alliance Ltd became the UK distributor for Pacari in February 2015. For orders or product information see below.
  • The word Pacari means "nature" in Quechua, an indigenous language of the Andean region. The name was chosen to evoke all that our chocolate is about: the best products from the earth, all natural and 100% Ecuadorian.
  • Santiago Peralta and his wife Carla Barboto are the founders of Pacari. They have created a transparent model of tree-to-bar manufacturing based on innovation and ecological and social responsibility. We trade directly with certified organic farms throughout the country, paying higher than market prices to ensure the finest ingredients are selected and to directly benefit more than 3,500 farming families in Ecuador.

The International Chocolate Awards is an independent competition which takes place every year to recognise excellence in fine chocolate making. Pacari has won more than 25 awards since the competition was founded in 2012. www.internationalchocolateawards.com
